Below are graphic illustrations of historical real estate market data for Canton, Georgia.  The Canton real estate market continues to appreciate, however, the number of closed sales has decreased and the monthly supply of homes has sllightly decreased when comparing a rolling 12 month period:


  • The average sales price decreased 2.82% when comparing the average sales price in January 2019 ($297,361) to the average sales price in January 2018 ($305,990) but the average sales price by rolling 12 months increased 7.84% when comparing the average sales price from February 2018 to January 2019 ($319,237) to the average sales price from February 2017 to January 2018 ($296,027).
  • The average price per square foot increased 5.22% when comparing the average price per square foot in January 2019 ($121) to the average price per square foot in January 2018 ($115) and the average price per square foot by rolling 12 months increased 7.27% when comparing the average price per square foot from February 2018 to January 2019 ($118) to the average price per square foot from February 2017 to January 2018 ($110).
  • The median sales price increased 1.00% when comparing the median sales price in January 2019 ($272,700) to the median sales price in January 2018 ($270,000) and the median sale price by rolling 12 months increased 8.78% when comparing the median sale price per month from February 2018 to January 2019 ($285,000) to the median sale price from February 2017 to January 2018 ($264,950).
  • The median price per square foot increased 6.36% when comparing the median price per square foot in January 2019 ($117) to the median price per square foot in January 2018 ($110) and the median price per square foot by rolling 12 months increased by 7.55% when comparing the median price per square foot from February 2018 to January 2019 ($114) to the median price per square foot from February 2017 to January 2018 ($106).
